Julia Stainer, an American who has made England her home for 14 years, created Red Oak Designs 8 years ago. Julia has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art and Design from Iowa State University in Art and Design. She gained her NVQ level 4 in Interior Design from Suffolk College 1999. She then went on to teach Interior Design at Suffolk College for 5 years.

Julia's philosophy is not to dictate what her clients should have, but to understand her client's needs. She enjoys the challenge of interpreting her client's tastes, lifestyle, aspirations and helping them to transform their space into something well beyond their expectations.
